STANDARD FOIL RANGE Printed foil balloons come in three basic sizes 10cm, 22cm and 45cm with a very big range of messages. They can be used alone, bunched together, or combined with latex plain balloons or latex prints to add fun and interest to any occasion. Designs cover every conceivable celebration and a host of party subjects. 45cm printed foil balloons are ideal for use with balloon gas. They have a much longer flying time than latex balloons, often lasting several days. Air filled they can last for weeks even months. Gas filled balloons are usually anchored with a clipped ribbon and weight. 10cm and 22cm are usually air filled and commonly mounted on a "cup & stick", or may be hung as decorations using light fishing line. 10 cm foils usually have no valve and require heat sealing - they are too heavy to float with Helium. FOIL SHAPES A large variety of novelty shapes are also available. The Big Bird Air Walker (shown right) is amongst the largest made. QUALITY It is best only to buy foil balloons from a known quality supplier. Many of the cheaper offerings are quality control rejects and will have faulty valves or weak seams.
